CPR/AED

CPR, First-Aid and the use of Automated External Defibrillators
(AED) save lives.
AED’s are successfully being placed in offices, airports,
hotels, restaurants, night clubs, churches, schools, even
homes. The use of AED’s and bystander CPR and contacting
911 can greatly improve chance of survival from sudden cardiac
arrest. CPR/AED training is becoming a must in all work
places. AED’s are a safe, effective, easy to use device
helping return the heart to regular rhythm allowing the blood to
pump more effectively. AED’s have audio voice prompts
for simple operation helping bystanders to effectively perform.
AED’s also have the ability to recognize irregular rhythm
and shock when appropriate. It takes the guess work out of a
chaotic situation. AED training takes less than 1 hour
to effectively learn. It is also advised to have proper CPR
instruction from qualified instructors to accompany your
AED.
Coronary Heart Disease positive risk factors determine a high
probability for sudden cardiac arrest. A family history of
heart disease or attack in a male at 55 years or younger and a
female at 65 years or younger, hypertension or high blood
pressure greater than 140 mmHg systolic over 90mmHg diastolic,
high cholesterol greater than 200 or an HDL (good cholesterol)
level less than 35, physical inactivity, diabetes, smoking,
obesity with a BMI (body mass index) greater than 30 and the
addition of a stressful lifestyle may compound risk.
We offer free AED training in Arizona with AED sales.
